Inseparable Pairs of Opposites
Pleasure and pain,
gain and loss, life and death, good and evil are the obverse and reverse sides
of the same coin. Evil can not exist without good; life, without death. They
are relative terms. Ignorant people want everything happiness in this world;
this is simply puerile. Pleasure and pain, life and death are inseparably
linked together. If you do not want pain and death, give up sensual pleasures
and existence in physical limitations.
